Who Is Alicia Long from Nutr on Shark Tank?

Alicia Long is the founder of the device which is shaking up the dairy industry.  Actually, it is the non-dairy lovers which are most enticed by Nutr.  It is a device which allows people to make their own milk, their own dairy-free milk, or nut-milk.  

1.  She is co-founder of Nutr alongside her partner, Dane Turk.

2.  Alicia is originally from Ohio and is approximately 32 years old.  She attended the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.  While she was there she earned her BBA in Marketing.  Quite the academic, Alicia graduated with Phi Sigma Theta Honors and was part of the American Marketing Association. 

3. She has some big names to her resume with positions at both Amazon and Google in recruiting.  Labeled the Senior Recruiter at Amazon for a little over a year and Senior Tech Recruiter at Google for two years.  

4. While working at Google, she worked on a project known as “Waymo” which was Google’s self-driving car project from 2009.  The next step in the journey which Alicia was part of was the introduction of Waymo One, the fully autonomous driving ride-hailing service.

5. In January of 2021 she stepped into her own business, working their full time out of Columbus Ohio.

Why did she start Nutr?
Alicia is lactose intolerant and was tired of looking for good alternatives but not really finding any. She also only saw unhealthy options in the store.This is what drove her to leave her Fortune 500 company and start Nutr. The company also gives back by planting a tree for every Nutr sale.

The company has been recognized by some big publisher media including Mashable, Forbes, Self, Women’s Health, Huffpost, WSJ, CBS, and PopSugar.
