Meghan Wolgram is the founder and CEO of SwiftPaws as seen on Shark Tank in season 13.
Education
Meghan has been working on her business since she graduated college. She began SwiftPaws in 2012 out of Melbourne, Florida. The business has been operating for almost 10 years now.
Career
Meghan only had one other position that she lists on LinkedIn. That position was as a finance intern for BCR Environmental for less than a year.
Life
She currently resides in Palm Bay, Florida.
Meghan always loved animals! Based on Crunchbase.com, she not only worked with dog trainers, but she also worked with zoos regarding cheetahs and various species. Now, with SwiftPaws, Meghan can bring the fun and exercise to all pets.
She has two pups of her own. They are Pretzel and Piper. Pretzel is a mini pinscher. Piper is a 3-year old pointer mix. Even though Meghan originally took Piper in to foster him, she fell hard and couldn’t give him up. She ended up giving Piper a forever home.
Meghan’s Business Advice
In an interview Best Startup conducted, they asked Meghan what kind of advice she’d give herself a year or two ago. She was completely positive and encouraging. “I’d tell myself I’m on the right track,” she began. She continued, “Soak up every spare moment with your pup, Pretzel, because losing your best friend in May 2021 is going to be the hardest thing you’ve ever been through.”
Pretzel was the inspiration behind starting SwiftPaws. It helps pet owners to relieve some guilt when they can’t spend as much time with their pooch as they want to.
